Front End HCD Designer Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Front End/Human-Centered Design (HCD) Designer Lead to guide user experience design and usability research for a Department of Defense modernization program.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead human-centered design workshops and journey mapping sessions to identify user needs and workflow pain points
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to test concepts with stakeholders and refine design direction
• Design and implement responsive, accessible front-end interfaces that meet DoD standards and support iterative design cycles

Required Qualifications

• Must hold an active Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in DevSecOps, software automation, or cloud infrastructure engineering
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies
• Experience supporting secure cloud-based development environments within AWS GovCloud or DoD-accredited platforms
