Front-End Lead for Digital Banking
Job Summary
Owning the implementation quality of member-facing web experiences for credit unions, the remote Front-End Lead for Digital Banking will translate UX vision and CMS architecture into high-performing, accessible front-end solutions while leading a team and building production code.
Key responsibilities
- Lead front-end engineering for new public websites tailored for financial institutions, particularly credit unions
- Build reusable, CMS-driven components and page templates while ensuring WCAG accessibility compliance
- Collaborate with UX and CMS Technical Leads to translate design systems into a robust component library and integrate front-end components with CMS APIs
Required qualifications
- 10+ years in modern front-end development with strong React and TypeScript experience
- Experience building enterprise-scale responsive websites and integrating with CMS platforms via REST/GraphQL
- Strong component architecture and design system experience
- Excellent HTML/CSS/JavaScript fundamentals and strong accessibility expertise
- Financial-services experience preferred, with familiarity in AEM, Sitecore, Kentico, Drupal, or similar CMS platforms
