Front End Web Developer

Job Summary

To support a growing design agency, the part-time contract Front End Web Developer will collaborate with designers and clients to implement approved Shopify designs, ensuring functionality and ease of use, with the potential for growth into a full-time salaried position.

Key responsibilities

• Consult on strategy, features, and functionality during project planning stages
• Code and customize Shopify themes based on client specifications and project scope
• Communicate effectively with clients and provide training on site functionality

Required qualifications

• At least three (3) years of Shopify ecommerce experience
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience creating development processes and documentation for team training
• Ability to code a Shopify website from a Figma file
• Familiarity with Git for version control and remote repository management
