Frontend AI Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of AI-driven user experiences, the contract Frontend AI Engineer will work remotely to build interactive interfaces, dashboards, and prototypes while collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate evolving requirements into shipping interfaces and co-shape interaction patterns for AI-driven experiences
• Build production-grade front-ends in React 18+ with TypeScript, implementing streaming UI patterns and real-time dashboards
• Ensure accessibility and performance by adhering to WCAG 2.1 AA standards and applying engineering best practices in production

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of modern front-end engineering experience with strong React 18+ and TypeScript fundamentals
• Experience with data visualization tools such as D3.js, Plotly, or ECharts, and building real-time dashboards
• Proficiency in component architecture and design-system implementation using Tailwind CSS and relevant libraries
• Hands-on experience with state management using TanStack Query and either Zustand, Redux Toolkit, or Jotai
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Design Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
