Frontend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Frontend Developer proficient in Ruby on Rails development with a focus on the Hotwire framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable code within the Rails framework using best practices
• Integrate Hotwire components for smooth user interactions and optimize backend logic for HTML fragment generation
• Collaborate with UX design and product management teams to implement new features and improve existing ones

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience developing software with Ruby on Rails
• Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; knowledge of Stimulus.js and Turbo is essential
• Proficient in Git for version control and ability to write well-tested, maintainable code
• Collaborative mindset with effective time management and multi-tasking skills
