Frontend Engineer

Job Summary

To support an innovative project, the full-time Freelance Frontend Engineer will build and maintain frontend functionality using React/Typescript while integrating with backend services and third-party APIs in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Join a team of AI-first engineers to develop clear, reliable user experiences for a data-rich web portal
• Write clean, readable, and well-tested code while using AI tools to streamline development workflows
• Proactively identify and address bugs, performance bottlenecks, and architectural risks

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend experience with at least 2 years of React experience
• Hands-on experience building at least one large-scale system from scratch
• Experience using AI tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a remote, asynchronous environment
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to manage priorities independently
