Leading a high-performing team, the full-time salaried Frontend Engineering Manager will oversee the development of Zocdoc's accessible React component library and design system, driving frontend and mobile development while ensuring accessibility standards are met across all products.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow a team of frontend engineers focused on design systems and accessible component libraries
- Own the strategy and roadmap for the design system and component library, ensuring widespread adoption across product teams
- Drive accessibility initiatives and establish processes for consistent, measurable standards in product development
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong foundation in frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) and mobile development (iOS or Android)
- 2+ years of experience leading and inspiring engineering teams
- Experience building or contributing to a design system or shared component library used across multiple teams
- Proven track record of delivering accessible consumer products on web and mobile platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
