Frontend Engineering Team Lead

Job Summary

Leading a remote full-time team, the Frontend Engineering Team Lead will oversee the development of high-performance user interfaces, mentor engineers, and set technical direction while contributing directly to the codebase.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable user interfaces using React and modern frontend technologies
• Mentor frontend engineers and promote engineering best practices across the team
• Integrate frontend systems with backend services while optimizing performance for data-rich applications

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of frontend engineering experience, including leadership of frontend projects or teams
• Strong expertise in React and modern JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience building data-driven, high-performance web applications
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and performance optimization
• Ability to mentor engineers and lead technical discussions effectively
