Frontend Software Engineer

Job Summary

To build and ship user-facing experiences for Coinbase's card products, a full-time Frontend Software Engineer will own end-to-end frontend development using React and React Native, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end frontend development across web and mobile for Coinbase's card products
• Build new features to enhance the credit card's value proposition and drive user engagement
• Partner with product management, design, and backend engineers to create polished user experiences

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in web applications using React or similar frameworks
• Experience in building mobile applications with React Native or ability to quickly adapt to cross-platform development
• Proven track record of owning features from design through implementation and release
• Experience collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to deliver cohesive product experiences
• Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly to enhance workflow efficiency and quality
