Frontend Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Frontend Software Engineer for a full-time remote position, responsible for building responsive web applications and enhancing user experiences across Ford's Digital Marketplace using modern JavaScript frameworks and agile methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Build and deliver enterprise-scale web applications utilizing React and NestJS, focusing on user experience and performance optimization
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and back-end developers to translate requirements into functional web applications while participating in agile ceremonies
• Develop and maintain CI/CD practices to ensure reliable deployment of front-end applications and drive continuous improvement in development processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of frontend software development experience with proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• 2+ years of experience in public cloud ecosystems (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, React-Router) and REST API integration
• Demonstrated expertise in designing scalable frontend applications and familiarity with frontend CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
