Frontend Software Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the full-time Frontend Software Engineer will design and develop new products and features, enhance existing functionalities, and improve web platform infrastructure while working remotely or in a hybrid model from Palo Alto, CA.

Key responsibilities

• Build new features and enhance existing ones in collaboration with backend and mobile engineers, designers, and product managers
• Triage and resolve operational issues to ensure smooth operation of mission-critical web systems and services
• Participate in web platform infrastructure projects to improve system health, performance, and product delivery velocity

Required qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in a web-focused engineering role
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, including ES5+ and native DOM APIs, with experience in a modern front-end framework (React, Vue, Angular, etc.)
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails or similar server-side frameworks is a plus
• Experience in building responsive custom pages and components with a focus on performance and CSS
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field
