FSA Actuary - Corporate Development

Job Summary

A company is looking for a VP, Financial Services Actuary - Corporate Development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead actuarial efforts related to mergers & acquisitions, reinsurance strategies, and capital optimization
• Manage corporate development projects, including due diligence, valuation, and post-merger integration
• Develop financial models and forecasts to evaluate corporate development projects and present findings to stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science or Mathematics
• Fellowship credentialed actuary (FSA or equivalent) required
• Typically 10 or more years of actuarial experience in corporate development and M&A
• Experience managing and developing actuarial teams preferred
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and risk management
