FSA Licensed Actuarial Consultant
Job Summary
Leading the analysis and interpretation of affiliated reinsurance results, the temporary FSA Licensed Actuarial Senior Consultant will work remotely to enhance understanding of profitability and financial performance while collaborating closely with finance and valuation teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and execute quarterly reporting processes for affiliated reinsurance, analyzing profitability and reserve movements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in financial reporting and communicate key financial performance drivers to senior leadership
- Enhance reporting tools and frameworks for solvency and risk appetite calibrations while troubleshooting complex data issues
Required qualifications
- FSA designation (or near-FSA with significant progress)
- 10+ years of actuarial and finance experience, particularly in affiliated reinsurance
- Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and Bermuda STAT regulations
- Strong knowledge of individual life insurance and pension risk transfer products
- Demonstrated experience with financial modeling and reserve analysis
