Job Summary
A company is looking for an AVP, VA Financial Reporting Actuary Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare timely and accurate reporting of US GAAP and statutory reserves
- Support Cash Flow Testing and conduct stress testing and projections
- Manage and develop a high-performing team aligned with organizational strategy
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in mathematics, actuarial sciences, or a quantitative field
- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or Associate (ASA) with 7+ years of experience
- 7+ years of actuarial experience in Life and Annuity insurance, with 3+ years in variable annuity valuation
- Proficient knowledge of US Statutory and GAAP accounting frameworks for variable annuities
- Demonstrated leadership ability and experience in collaborative team environments
