FSA Licensed ALM Modeling Director

Job Summary

To support ALM strategy and modeling advancements, the remote FSA Licensed ALM Modeling Director will coordinate with investment teams, optimize asset modeling, and ensure timely analysis for liability-side hedging while managing actuarial modeling software and project deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with the investments team to ensure consistent asset modeling across all lines of business
• Support the investment team in optimizing SAA through analysis of actuarial reserves
• Execute timely model development and ongoing production processes, delivering results to stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related fields
• 7+ years of progressively responsible actuarial experience with Life Insurance, Annuity products, or equivalent ALM environment
• Fellow of Society of Actuaries (FSA) with 3+ years post-FSA experience, or Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) with 7+ years post-ASA experience, or 10+ years of relevant experience
• Significant working experience with actuarial modeling software (e.g., AXIS)
• High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word applications, along with experience in database and programming languages
