FSA Licensed Senior Actuary

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President, Sr. Actuary to lead financial reporting and reinsurance for its Retirement Actuarial Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct actuarial valuation groups and ensure compliance with US GAAP and US Statutory standards
• Conduct financial results analysis and prepare the division's financial and business plan
• Manage teams, oversee modeling improvements, and act as the primary contact for reinsurance updates and audits

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a strong quantitative background; FSA designation required
• 10+ years of insurance-related actuarial experience, with 2+ years in reinsurance
• Experience with Fixed Indexed Annuities and knowledge of US GAAP FAS 133 and US Statutory Actuarial Guidelines
• Proven ability to lead and manage large teams remotely
• Exceptional technical skills, including proficiency in spreadsheets and data management tools
