FSA Life Pricing Actuary

Job Summary

Leading pricing strategy and product innovation, the remote Assistant Vice President, Life & Retirement Pricing will manage actuarial support for Life and Retirement products, ensuring alignment with profitability objectives and regulatory requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the pricing strategy and actuarial support for new Life and Retirement products, including developing pricing reports and recommendations
• Oversee the Life and Retirement rate-setting process, ensuring stakeholder alignment and financial analysis
• Serve as the Illustration Actuary, providing oversight for illustration systems and ensuring compliance with product objectives

Required Qualifications

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
• Minimum of 10 years of actuarial experience within Life Insurance and/or Retirement
• Demonstrated experience in product pricing, product development, and actuarial modeling
• Strong understanding of actuarial valuation, profitability analysis, and financial projections
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior leadership decisions
