FSA Life Sciences Actuary

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Life Sciences Consulting Actuary.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of pharmacy economic models to evaluate drug pricing strategies
• Model the financial impact of drug formulary/access strategies for health plans
• Act as the primary subject matter expert for C-suite clients, translating complex pharmacy data into actionable strategies

Required Qualifications

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) in good standing
• 8+ years of health actuarial experience, with at least 4 years in pharmacy benefits or drug pricing
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
• Advanced proficiency in SAS and/or SQL for analyzing large-scale datasets
• Experience in building complex models independently
