FSA Life Valuation Actuary

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Actuary - Life Valuation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute tools and processes for life insurance valuation and financial reporting
• Analyze financial models and ensure compliance with GAAP and STAT accounting standards
• Lead special projects and collaborate with various departments to support actuarial functions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in mathematics or a related business field
• 6-8 years of experience in Actuarial Science preferred
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or near-FSA actively pursuing completion
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in actuarial tools, preferably AXIS
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple projects
