FSA Medicaid Actuary

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medicaid Actuary (FSA) to perform health actuarial work with a focus on Medicaid.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of healthcare data
• Write reports that clearly explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• Manage projects through completion within an expected budget and supervise actuarial students and less-experienced actuaries

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field
• FSA designation
• Seven to twelve years of healthcare actuarial experience, particularly in Medicaid
• Proficiency with Excel and some knowledge of SAS, SQL, or R
• Strong understanding of the US healthcare system and Medicaid
