FTTH Quality Control Engineer

Job Summary

Responsible for quality review of all OSP Engineering Design projects, the full-time FTTH Quality Control Engineer will ensure compliance with customer specifications, analyze design packages for cost-effectiveness, and communicate quality issues with engineering vendors, working either locally or remotely within the USA.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality reviews on assigned OSP Engineering Design packages
• Verify that all designs comply with customer scope and accurately reflect existing facilities
• Identify and communicate any missing or incorrect design information to the Engineering Vendor

Required qualifications

• Experience with FTTH technology and OSP engineering, with a minimum of 3 years in the field
• Strong understanding of design and construction of Outside Plant Copper and Fiber Optic Cable
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Acrobat
• Working knowledge of Google Earth
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
