Job Summary

Serving as the primary FTZ Support Team Lead, this full-time remote position will manage complex compliance issues, mentor Tier 1 support agents, and act as a liaison between product management and engineering teams while ensuring Customs compliance in FTZ operations.

Key responsibilities:
  • Intercept and triage complex compliance tickets to reduce Engineering escalations and provide actionable data fixes
  • Manage, mentor, and train FTZ Support Agents, developing playbooks to enhance team capacity and resolve workflow confusion
  • Partner with FTZ Product and Engineering leadership to provide feedback for product development and automation feature requests
Required qualifications:
  • 2+ years of direct experience in Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) operations, preferably with QAD FTZ software
  • Knowledge of FTZ software interactions with the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) and Automated Broker Interface (ABI)
  • Operational experience in processing FTZ transactions, including CBP Forms 214, 7512, 3461, and 7501
  • Experience in stakeholder management and navigating high-pressure situations with enterprise FTZ operators
  • Previous leadership or mentoring experience, ideally in a globally distributed environment
