Full Stack AI Engineer

Job Summary

Building production websites and open-source infrastructure for mid-market companies, the full-time remote Full Stack AI Engineer will manage full builds from architecture through deployment using modern open-source stacks and AI tooling as a core component of their workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Build client websites using Astro, Next.js, and React, overseeing the entire architecture and deployment process
• Deploy open-source infrastructure for clients, including CRM, analytics, and automation, while ensuring data connectivity
• Make front-end design decisions within established brand systems, focusing on typography, layout, and responsive behavior

Required qualifications

• 2-4 years of full-stack experience in TypeScript/JavaScript
• Proficiency in modern frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Astro
• Experience with Node.js APIs, REST integrations, and at least one database (e.g., Postgres, MongoDB)
• Daily use of AI coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or Aider
• Strong front-end design skills with a keen eye for detail and visual hierarchy
