Full Stack API Engineer

Job Summary

To build and maintain secure APIs for data access, the contract Full Stack API Engineer will work remotely, focusing on advanced REST API design and backend development using Node.js and Express, while integrating with various data sources.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop API endpoints, data contracts, and authentication patterns for secure data exchange
• Integrate APIs with Postgres, Snowflake, and other systems, ensuring error handling and performance tuning
• Document API specifications and maintain logging and monitoring practices for optimal functionality

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Node.js and Express
• Advanced proficiency in REST API design and development
• Intermediate to advanced experience in API integration with Postgres and Snowflake
• Strong background in API authentication, authorization, and secure data exchange
• Preferred experience in healthcare or provider data integration
