Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and integrate with internal platforms to ensure reliable data delivery for healthcare EDI transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best software engineering practices

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs, particularly in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and ability to integrate APIs into front-end components
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
