Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions, design and implement RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve healthcare records
• Collaborate with teams to integrate internal platform APIs and ensure data accuracy and performance

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end integration using Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience in building RESTful APIs that handle structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and integrating APIs into front-end components
• Familiarity with AWS services, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
