Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions while designing and maintaining RESTful APIs using Java and/or NodeJS.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application that processes healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to serve and transform healthcare records while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews, ensuring best software engineering practices within an Agile framework

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies such as Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and integrating APIs into front-end components
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
