Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery for healthcare EDI transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs that serve and transform healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure data accuracy

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a focus on Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience in building RESTful APIs for structured EDI or healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and integrating APIs into front-end components
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
