Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and integrate with internal platforms to deliver healthcare EDI transaction data.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, ensuring reliable data delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API contracts and support deployment and monitoring of back-end services

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies, particularly Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular or another modern front-end framework
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related tools
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
