Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions while designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application and RESTful APIs for EDI healthcare records
• Integrate with internal platform APIs and ensure reliable data delivery while supporting an Angular-based front-end
• Write clean, testable code and perform unit and integration testing across back-end services and API layers

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies, specifically Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience in building RESTful APIs and handling structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and cloud services such as AWS or Azure
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• U.S. Citizenship required for this position
