Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery for healthcare EDI transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, integrating with internal platform APIs and data services
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure accurate data presentation in an Angular-based front-end

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience in building RESTful APIs that serve structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs into front-end components
• Working knowledge of cloud services (AWS/Azure) and experience with API Gateway, Lambda, and related services
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
