Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support a growing Veterans Affairs initiative, the full-time Full Stack Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for retrieving and transforming healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure reliable data delivery across services

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies, specifically Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs into front-end components
• Working knowledge of cloud services (AWS/Azure), including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
