Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs to serve and transform healthcare records while integrating with internal platforms
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure data accuracy and performance in an Agile environment

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end integration using Java and/or NodeJS
• Hands-on experience with Angular for front-end development and API integration
• Proven ability to design and consume RESTful APIs that handle structured healthcare data
• Experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
