Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support a growing Veterans Affairs initiative, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery for healthcare EDI transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS while integrating with internal platform APIs and data services
• Contribute to an Angular-based front-end by consuming APIs and ensuring accurate data presentation for users

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies such as Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs and handling structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and modern front-end frameworks
• Familiarity with AWS services, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
