Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support a growing Veterans Affairs initiative, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will build and maintain cloud-based applications, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS while integrating with internal platform APIs
• Collaborate with teams to ensure accurate data delivery and participate in code reviews and testing

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and modern front-end frameworks
• Experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and familiarity with related tools (API Gateway, Lambda, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
