Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will build and maintain cloud-based web applications, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery for healthcare EDI transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based web dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve and transform healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure accurate data presentation on an Angular-based front-end

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies, particularly Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and back-end integration work
• Familiarity with AWS services, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
