Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support a growing Veterans Affairs initiative, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based web dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based web dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve EDI healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure accurate data integration

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs that consume and transform structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs into front-end components
• Experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related tools for deployment and monitoring
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
