Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and integrate with internal platforms to ensure reliable data delivery for healthcare EDI transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, ensuring accurate data retrieval and transformation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API contracts and support deployment and monitoring of back-end services

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with Angular front-end applications
• Hands-on experience with cloud services, particularly AWS/Azure
• Strong understanding of structured healthcare data and EDI transactions
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
