Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Full Stack Developer will build and maintain cloud-based web applications, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve healthcare records
• Integrate with internal APIs and ensure reliable data delivery while supporting an Angular-based front-end

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on back-end development in Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs that consume and transform structured data (XML, JSON)
• Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs into front-end components
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and experience with API Gateway and related services
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
