Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery for healthcare EDI transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve and transform healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure data accuracy and performance

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies, particularly Java and/or NodeJS
• Hands-on experience with Angular and building RESTful APIs for structured healthcare data
• Proficiency in cloud services (AWS/Azure) and familiarity with deployment and monitoring tools
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
