Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support a growing Veterans Affairs initiative, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and integration.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, integrating with internal platform APIs and data services
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure accurate data presentation on an Angular-based front-end

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end integration using Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience with Angular and building RESTful APIs that consume and transform structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud services, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with unit and integration testing frameworks
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
