Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will build and maintain cloud-based web applications, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based web dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure reliable data delivery

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and modern front-end frameworks
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
