Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will design, build, and maintain cloud-based applications, develop RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and/or NodeJS while integrating with internal platform APIs
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure accurate data delivery to front-end applications

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and modern front-end frameworks
• Working knowledge of cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related technologies
• U.S. Citizenship required and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
