Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support a growing Veterans Affairs initiative, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will build and maintain cloud-based applications, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery in a healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure data accuracy

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and modern front-end frameworks
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and API management
• U.S. Citizenship required for this position
