Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support a growing Veterans Affairs project, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and integration.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for transforming and serving EDI healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure reliable data delivery across services

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs that handle structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and integrating APIs into front-end components
• Working knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud services, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
