Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support a growing Veterans Affairs practice, the part-time Full Stack Developer will build and maintain cloud-based web applications, design and implement RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and performance in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS while integrating with internal platform APIs and data services
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews, ensuring best practices within an Agile framework

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs into front-end components
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related tools for API management
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
