Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer (Angular/NodeJS) will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design and implement RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery for healthcare EDI transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs that retrieve and serve healthcare records while integrating with internal platform APIs
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure reliable data delivery across services

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end integration using Java and/or NodeJS
• Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs and contribute to front-end components
• Proven ability to design and consume RESTful APIs that handle structured data (XML, JSON)
• Experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related technologies such as API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
