Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer (Angular/NodeJS) will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, integrating with internal platform APIs and data services
• Contribute to an Angular-based front-end, ensuring accurate data presentation to users while writing clean, testable code

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies like Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs, particularly in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and modern front-end frameworks, including API integration
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
