Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer (Angular/NodeJS) will build and maintain cloud-based applications, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve EDI healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure accurate data integration

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong back-end focus in Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs that consume and transform structured data (XML, JSON)
• Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs into front-end components
• Working knowledge of cloud services (AWS/Azure) including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
