Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer (Angular/NodeJS) will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for healthcare data processing
• Support and enhance an Angular-based dashboard front-end, integrating APIs and ensuring accurate data presentation
• Participate in code reviews, write clean and testable code, and support deployment and performance monitoring of back-end services on AWS

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, particularly in healthcare environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and modern front-end frameworks
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based application development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
